Jesse Duplantis house is at 13912 River Road in Destrehan, Louisiana – just a short drive from the buzzing energy of New Orleans.

Worth somewhere around $3.3 million (though some estimates go WAY higher), it’s definitely not your typical preacher’s humble abode.

The neighborhood? Think exclusive riverfront properties where privacy comes standard and your neighbours are probably equally well-off.

The architectural style screams old Southern money – it’s that classic plantation or antebellum style that makes you feel like you should be sipping sweet tea on the veranda.

The mansion stands proud on its 45-acre lot, with the mighty Mississippi flowing nearby, creating that perfect backdrop for what some call a “blessed lifestyle.”

The property is technically owned by Jesse Duplantis Ministries, which gives it that sweet tax-exempt status, saving about $30,000 yearly in property taxes.

Who is Jesse Duplantis?

Jesse Duplantis isn’t just any televangelist – he’s the guy with the infectious laugh who started preaching back in 1976 and never looked back.

Born in Louisiana with Cajun roots, he transformed from a struggling musician to a world-famous preacher with his own ministry.

His whole life story is this rags-to-riches tale that he often references in his sermons.

He’s known for his humor, storytelling ability, and that distinctive Louisiana accent that makes everything sound a bit more interesting.

His Jesse Duplantis Ministries broadcasts reach folks in pretty much every corner of the world, and he’s written a stack of books about prosperity and faith.

It’s this teaching that he uses to explain his lavish lifestyle, including his fancy home and private jets.

His defenders say he’s just living out what he preaches, while critics wonder if Jesus would really approve of all that luxury.

The first thing that hits you about Jesse Duplantis house is those columns. BIG, dramatic columns that scream old-school Southern plantation vibes.

The entire house follows that antebellum style that’s so iconic in Louisiana – white exterior, symmetrical design, and that grand entrance that makes you feel small just looking at it.

When you walk in, there’s this amazing two-story rotunda entrance with a ceiling that seems to touch the sky.

The builder really went all out with high ceilings throughout – we’re talking 12-15 feet in most rooms, making even the smaller spaces feel massive.

It’s built with wood and drywall framing, but all supported by concrete beams that could probably withstand anything Mother Nature throws at it.

The crown molding isn’t just crown molding – it’s like artwork running along every ceiling edge. And the marble flooring? Cool to the touch and absolutely pristine.

Every architectural detail feels intentional, from the arched doorways to the grand staircase that sweeps up to the second floor.

Kitchen and Dining Area

The kitchen of Jesse Duplantis house is huge – definitely not designed for just one person cooking alone.

The countertops are this gorgeous high-end marble that probably costs more than my car, with custom cabinetry that looks hand-crafted by angels.

There’s a massive island in the center that could seat like 8 people comfortably, making it perfect for those ministry meetings that happen to include food.

Just off the kitchen, there’s this breakfast nook with views of the gardens that would make your morning coffee feel like a spiritual experience.

Jesse Duplantis house, dining room has an enormous table that could seat at least 20 people.

The whole setup flows beautifully from the cooking space to the eating areas, making it perfect for entertaining large groups or ministry events.

Entertainment Zone

The entertainment zone in this house is big.

We’re talking about a legit cinema experience with proper theater seating, sound-proofing, and a screen big enough to make you forget you’re not at AMC.

Then there’s the indoor bowling alley.

Can you imagine having friends over? “Hey guys, wanna bowl a few frames?” and then just walking down the hall instead of driving across town.

For music lovers, the music parlor is something special. It’s got amazing acoustics and plenty of space for instruments.

Jesse himself is known to be musical, so this room probably gets plenty of use when he’s feeling inspired.

With all these entertainment options under one roof, it’s like having your own private resort.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom of Jesse Duplantis house in this place isn’t just a room – it’s practically its own apartment.

The ceiling height makes it feel even bigger, with these gorgeous architectural details that draw your eye upward.

The bed setup is centered perfectly in the room, probably king-sized or even custom larger, with this elaborate headboard that screams luxury.

The closet situation is what dreams are made of – we’re talking walk-in closets the size of most people’s living rooms.

Plenty of custom shelving, hanging space, and probably special lighting to make picking out your daily televangelist outfit easier.

Jesse Duplantis house bathroom is basically a personal spa with marble and everything.

Everything about this master suite says “retreat” – it’s designed to be a peaceful haven after a long day of preaching about prosperity.

Living Room

The living room in Jesse Duplantis house has this gorgeous formal space with a ceiling and windows that flood the room with natural light.

The furnishings aren’t just furniture – they’re statement pieces that probably cost more than a year of college tuition.

The coffee table in the center is probably some artisan piece that tells a story all its own.

The walls feature that elegant crown molding we talked about earlier, and the floors might be that beautiful marble or some high-end hardwood that’s polished to perfection.

Scattered throughout are probably little touches that make it personal.

Family photos, meaningful mementos, or religious artifacts that remind visitors of the ministry that paid for all this luxury.

It’s designed to make guests feel both awed and welcomed, which is probably exactly what Jesse Duplantis is going for.

Other Amenities

Beyond the main attractions, Jesse Duplantis house is packed with extras that take it from merely luxurious to almost ridiculous.

The fitness center isn’t just a treadmill in a spare room – it’s a full-blown gym with every machine you could want.

The swimming pool and spa area is something straight out of a resort brochure.

I’m talking about a pool big enough for actual swimming, not just dipping, probably with some water features thrown in for good measure

Let’s not forget the aviation features.

This property has its own landing strip. Like, you can literally fly your private jet home.

Most people worry about where to park their car – Jesse has to figure out where to park his planes.

The landscaping is immaculate, with garden areas designed for peaceful reflection or entertaining guests outdoors.

Plus, the place is apparently set up to serve as a temporary shelter during emergencies, though I imagine being sheltered here would feel more like a luxury vacation than emergency housing.

Conclusion

Jesse Duplantis’ house represents so much more than just brick, mortar, and some fancy marble.

It’s become this lightning rod in conversations about faith, wealth, and what religious leaders should or shouldn’t have.

Standing on its 45 acres with its 35,000 square feet of pure luxury, it’s impossible not to have some kind of reaction to it.

Critics, meanwhile, look at the same features and see something totally different.

They question whether a religious leader needs a home theater, bowling alley, and enough space to house a small congregation.

Whatever side you fall on, you gotta admit – the place is impressive. The architectural details, the amenities, and the sheer scale of it all take your breath away.

It’s like someone took the American Dream, injected it with prosperity gospel steroids, and built it along the Mississippi River.

Whether that’s inspiring or concerning probably depends on your own views about religion, money.
